Permissionless

For a unified identity and trust protocol permissionlessness is the key feature to enable a broad adoption. The main objective is to offer an protocol that works with no central authorities or consortiums to build trust among no matter which participants.

Scalable

A protocol that suits all sorts of identities worldwide bottlenecks in scalability, such as central services or blockchains, must be avoided under all circumstances.

W3C DID V1.0

To facilitate a broad adoption, the protocols' specification follows the W3C DID standard V1.0.
